In line with the Presidential directive of planting 15 billion trees by 2032, the Special Economic Zones Authority team led by CEO Dr.Kenneth Chelule on 13th November 2023 participated during the National Tree Growing Holiday at Enoosupukia, Suswa Ward, Narok East. Present Leaders were; Principal Secretary State Department for Investment Promotion Abubakar Hassan Abubakar, Governor Narok County Ntutu.
PS Abubakar, who represented Honourable Rebecca Miano, Cabinet Secretary for Investment Trade and Industry, urged the residents of Narok to heed the call of planting trees, saying it is a way of combating climate change.
At Enoosupukia Forest Block, a target of 100,000 has been set with locals having been contracted to do the planting.
